Follow the instructions below to apply for your security clearance.
Go to: https://sclient.dss.mil/download/ (link opens in a new window.)
Click on the "Press to acknowledge the ..." button
Click on the "Windows 95, 98, NT or 2000" button
Click on the "Select the Edition(s) of your choice" link under heading 2
Click on the "Subject Edition" link
Click on the "Download Full Subject Edition" button to download the program
Install and run the program
Click the "Create" menu selection and click on "User Form"
Click "Request for Security Clearance (SF86)" and click the "OK" button
Click "National Agency Check (NAC or NACLC)" and click the "OK" button
Press enter to say you read all of the information about the form
Enter your social security number and a password
Follow the instructions on the screen
